Cyclyx uses a fundamentally different approach to support the recycling of plastics. We’re on a mission to increase the recyclability of post-use plastics, regardless of origin, composition, or condition. That’s why we’re dedicated to diverting plastics from landfills through our all-plastic collection programs. By establishing easily-accessible collection sites and simplifying the process, we are contributing to a circular economy.
To date, Cyclyx has provided more than 60 million pounds of end-use plastic as ISCC-PLUS certified feedstock for advanced recycling, diverting these materials from landfills or incineration.
Breaking new ground with Circularity Centers
Our state-of-the-art Circularity Center, currently under construction in Houston, TX, will be the first of its kind in the U.S. to accept all plastics and process them at scale. The center will be more than 510,000 square feet, about the size of nine football fields. To date, construction milestones have been achieved with zero recordable incidents, reinforcing the company’s dedication to safe and efficient operations.
To help address the increasing demand for recycled plastic in the market, we are actively developing our first Circularity Center in Houston, TX, followed by a second center in Dallas-Fort Worth, TX. These facilities will be capable of accepting a wide range of post-consumer, commercial, and industrial plastic waste and custom formulating it into ISCC-PLUS-certified feedstock for mechanical and advanced recycling applications. At full capacity, each center will have the ability to produce 300 million pounds of custom-formulated, ISCC-PLUS-certified feedstock annually.
We source materials from a wide range of post-consumer, commercial, and industrial-based streams. Many of these plastics are often considered unrecyclable and not accepted by traditional recyclers due to contamination, poor quality, or chemical complexity. That’s where our technology steps in.
